Registered Nurse – Oncology / Chemotherapy Certified

FSN is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with chemotherapy certification to join our passionate healthcare team. In this pivotal role, you will provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients, ensuring safe administration of chemotherapy and effective management of treatment-related side effects. Your compassionate approach will support patients and their families throughout their cancer journey, while collaborating closely with oncologists and multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best possible patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and other oncology treatments in strict accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
  • Monitor patients proactively for adverse reactions, promptly responding to any complications or emergencies.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, focusing on symptom management, treatment response, and overall well-being.
  • Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans tailored to each oncology patient’s needs.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment regimens, medication administration, potential side effects, and safety precautions.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively with oncologists, pharmacists, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
  • Uphold strict safety procedures when handling hazardous medications, ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Provide emotional support, advocacy, and reassurance to patients and families during cancer treatment and recovery.

Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Current Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ oncology nursing experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and assessment skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Shift & Schedule:

  • Night shift: 3 days per week, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
