**Join Our Dynamic Oncology Team in Dallas!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Travel RN Oncology - **Location:** Dallas, TX - **Shift:** 7A - 7P (Tuesday Starts) **Unit Information:** - **Number of Beds:** 41 - **Staffing:** - **Day Shift:** 1 Charge Nurse, up to 5 RNs, 2 Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) per floor - **Night Shift:** 1 Charge Nurse, up to 5 RNs, 1 PCT per floor - **Patient Ratios (Estimated):** 4:1, max 5:1 - **Equipment:** Baxter Pumps - **EMR System:** Meditech **Required Skills:** - **Must Have:** - Strong understanding of sterile dressing changes and infection prevention - Solid knowledge of blood and electrolyte replacement process protocols - **Preferred Skills:** - General Medical Oncology understanding - Familiarity with ports and central lines **Typical Procedures:** - Daily blood and electrolyte replacement - Sterile dressing changes **Ideal Candidate Personality:** - Team-centered approach - Collaborative and engaging attitude **Required Certifications:** - BLS (Basic Life Support) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) **Special Notes:** - **Floating Area(s):** Flexible roles within the unit - **Dress Code:** Royal Blue scrubs, monogrammed with hospital name; approved jackets allowed **Availability:** - **Weekends:** Rotating shifts **Experience Requirement:** - Minimum 1 year of relevant experience **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
