**Join Our Dynamic Oncology Team!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Registered Nurse (RN) - **Department:** 7 Main Oncology - **Location:** Birmingham, AL - **Shift:** PM 18:45 - 07:15 - **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 per week - **Weekend Requirements:** Every other weekend - **Call Requirements:** None **What You'll Do:** - Provide exceptional care to oncology and palliative patients - Collaborate with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals - Assist in post-operative care for bariatric patients and manage medical/surgical overflow - Maintain patient ratios of 6:1, ensuring quality and attentive care **Qualifications:** - **Must Have:** - 2 years of Med/Surg experience - BLS and NIHSS certifications (AHA) - **Preferred Skills:** - Experience in acute care settings **Unit Information:** - **Number of Beds:** 18 - **Equipment Used:** Computer, IV pump, vital sign machines, and other basic medical equipment - **EMR System:** Epic **Personality Fit:** - Responsible, dependable, and compassionate - Hardworking and patient-oriented - Kind and understanding **Dress Code:** - Scrub Color: Navy - Only scrubs and scrub jackets are allowed **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
