Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Oncology RN for a hospital day-shift position requiring chemotherapy/biotherapy certification and KY or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Oncology unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift, Monday-Friday, 5x8 hour shifts (7:30 AM-4:00 PM)
• Floating required within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital

Requirements

• Active RN license (KY State or Compact) required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in oncology specialty required
• Oncology Chemotherapy and Biotherapy experience required
• Ambulatory clinic and phone triage experience preferred
• ONC certification preferred but not required
• At least 1 professional reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• Work settings may include BMT, infusion center, inpatient oncology, outpatient oncology, PCU, pediatric oncology, or radiation oncology
• Maximum of 24 hours RTO approved per 13-week contract, must be disclosed prior to start
• Local candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility are not accepted
• Previous permanent staff must have separated from all affiliated facilities for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
