Job Details:

• Night shift position with various days of the week
• Weekend shifts required per unit needs, approximately 6 per 6 weeks
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• No on-call required
• Floating required within scope to meet facility needs, including potential float to sister facilities
• Patient ratios: 1:4 day shift, 1:5 night shift; ratios may flex up based on staffing and unit needs - candidates must be comfortable with and have prior experience in flexible staffing ratio environments
• 36-bed Oncology/GYN-ONC/Palliative/Med Tele unit serving adult patients
• Charting system: Epic (experience required)
• Scrub color: Navy
• Required certifications: BLS, Colorado or Compact RN license; Oncology certification preferred but not required; Chemo (ONS/ONCC) certification required
• Oncology skills checklist required at time of submission
• Required skills include: accessing/managing ports, administration of chemotherapy and blood products, central line care and blood draw, continuous and IV push administration of chemotherapy, monitoring chemotherapy, neutropenic precautions, PICC line care, PCA pump management, wound care, foley catheter insertion/management, phlebotomy, and additional oncology-specific competencies
• Maximum 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract
• RTO not allowed during the following blackout periods: June 28 – July 9, 2026; September 2 – September 12, 2026; October 25 – November 4, 2026; November 22 – December 2, 2026; December 20 – January 3, 2027
• No blocked scheduling requests permitted
• Interdisciplinary support available including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Radiology, Rapid Response Teams, and more

The facility utilizes Epic for charting and maintains structured nurse-to-patient ratios to support quality patient care.
