Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Oncology RN for an outpatient clinic setting caring for Head and Neck and GU cancer patients, requiring chemo administration and IV skills.

Details

• Outpatient oncology clinic within a Genitourinary & Head and Neck Cancer Center
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours, with shift options between 8:00 AM-6:00 PM, 9:00 AM-7:00 PM, and 10:00 AM-8:00 PM
• No weekend shifts required
• Floating required, potentially to an affiliate hospital nearby
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required (in-hand, no pending licenses accepted)
• BSN required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and OCN certifications preferred
• Minimum 2 years of oncology nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Must be able to administer chemotherapy and start IVs
• Epic EMR charting experience preferred
• Strong IV insertion skills required
• One supervisory-level professional reference required

• Provide direct oncology nursing care including chemotherapy administration to Head and Neck and GU cancer patients
• Support a high-volume cancer treatment center known for its outpatient infusion and MD visit volume
• COVID vaccination and booster required with no exemptions
• No holiday coverage required
• Travel pairs may be considered
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate with no mileage radius restriction
