**Join Our Dynamic Surgical Oncology Team!** - **Position**: RN MS/Oncology - Surgical Oncology Unit - **Shifts**: Days with occasional floating to nights as needed - **Schedule**: Various days of the week - **Experience Required**: Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing - **First-Time Travelers**: Welcomed, must have teaching hospital experience for initial assignment - **Weekend Requirement**: Yes, based on unit needs - **Certifications Needed**: AHA BLS, CO or Compact RN license - **On-Call Requirement**: No - **Floating Requirement**: Yes, may float between like units and sister facilities based on needs - **Total Staffed Beds**: 36 - **Charting System**: Epic - **Nurse-to-Patient Ratios**: 1:6, with flexibility based on staffing and unit needs - **Scrub Color**: Navy - **Special Requirements**: - Teaching hospital experience is required - Focus on surgical oncology for patients with abdominal or pelvic cancers - Majority of cases related to Gynecologic, Colorectal, Pancreatic, Liver, and Stomach cancers - Care for patients recovering from surgery with an emphasis on achieving post-op milestones - No chemotherapy or biotherapy administration on this unit; chemo certification not required Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
