Bestica is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri.

RN/Oncology
Start date: 3-4 weeks out per compliance tier
Ratios: 1:4-5; 1:3 BMT for all shifts
Years of experience REQ: 1
First-timers accepted: Yes
Weekend REQ: Every other
Certs REQ: ACLS, BLS; BSN (Preferred)
Is on-call REQ? No
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes, Will float within service line
Open to accommodating block schedule? No
Locals accepted: No local candidates accepted within 75 mile radius
Pending License accepted: Yes
RTO Restrictions: no more than 7 days of RTO per 13 week contract
Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks. The cancelled shifts must be the regular shift length to which the Contractor Personnel is assigned
Special Requirements:
***Will need to pass Relias EKG exam. Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias required***
- Patient diagnosis: Medical Oncology: solid tumor: lung, breast, pancreatic; BMT (not needed by TN) leukemia, bone; chemotherapy, radiation therapy (not for TN, post treatment care of the patient); average stay 3-5 days; BMT 96 beds (not TN unless has experience)
- Special Procedures/Unit Details: IV starts , administer chemotherapy (not by TN unless certified), trach care, no vents, accessing ports and central lines, stem cell transplantation (not by TN); BMT (not TN unless experienced); Does not need chemotherapy administration / infusion experience
