Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR Circulator RN for a 13-week travel contract at an ambulatory surgery center in Vail, CO, requiring a minimum of 2 years of OR experience and active CO or compact RN license.
Details
- Position is based at an ambulatory surgery center in Vail, CO
- OR Circulator role within a surgical services setting
- Schedule is 3x12-hour day shifts per week
- 13-week contract duration
Requirements
- Active CO RN license or valid compact state RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- HIPAA compliance required
Additional Information
- Responsible for circulating duties in the OR, including patient safety oversight, medication administration, and procedural assistance
- Collaborates with surgeons, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Performs competent patient assessments, prioritization, and critical thinking in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Provides patient and family education to support plan of care and informed healthcare decision-making
- Delegates care appropriately in accordance with Colorado nursing statutes
