Job Summary Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Sylva, North Carolina. This role involves providing specialized surgical nursing care within a busy OR setting at an acute care facility. The position requires a focus on patient safety, surgical support, and adherence to clinical standards.
Job Details
Certifications: Current nursing licensure and certifications as required, with at least 1 year of clinical experience.
Education Requirements: Must have a valid nursing degree and appropriate state licensure.
Location Requirements: Candidates must be at least 60 miles or greater from the healthcare facility.
Years of Experience: 1 year + one travel assignment.
Schedule: 12-hour shifts; Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday with minimum weekly hours of 36.
Responsibilities include assisting with C-Sections, Orthopedic surgeries, General surgery, Urology, Gynecology, ENT (pediatric and adult), Pain management, and Dental procedures (pediatric).
Equipment used includes Hana table, trauma table, enseal, myosure, novasure, kabtec, and neoprobe.
Additional notes: Scrubs are provided, and the role involves working with a variety of surgical cases in a family-oriented hospital environment.
