Job Summary Operating Room Nurse - TX, based in the healthcare organization, is sought for a full-time position starting late October. The role involves providing comprehensive perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced surgical setting, demonstrating independence and clinical competence to meet patient needs and ensure quality outcomes.
Job Details
Position Description: Provides routine and complex care, utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for patients in the operating room setting. Practices independently, makes appropriate assignments, and delegates tasks as needed to manage clinical situations effectively. Addresses the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, 1 year of experience in operating room nursing preferred, BLS (American Heart Association), RN License in Texas or a compact state.
Schedule: Multiple shifts available, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: The nurse will demonstrate leadership competencies and adhere to the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, ensuring accurate documentation, medication administration, and patient education.
