Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Main OR position at a hospital in Webster, TX, requiring at least 1 year of OR circulator experience across all service lines and BLS certification.
Details
- Work is performed in the Main OR (2nd floor, Main Tower) of an acute care hospital setting in Webster, TX
- 18-bed OR suite performing all case types except transplants
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Uses Meditech EMR
- Surgical equipment includes service-line-specific instrumentation and a da Vinci Xi robotic surgical system
- Call is required, including weekend call
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active TX RN license or compact RN license (must be in hand at time of consideration)
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date)
- Minimum 1 year of recent OR experience as a circulator across all surgical service lines
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted
- One professional reference required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
Additional Information
- Functions as a circulator across all surgical service lines, excluding transplant cases
- Ideal candidates are highly skilled, knowledgeable, and comfortable working at a fast pace
- Light blue scrubs are required
