Job Summary The healthcare organization is seeking an Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) for a position in a surgery unit. This role involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced surgical environment, ensuring patient safety and positive outcomes. The RN will be responsible for executing various surgical procedures and collaborating with the surgical team to deliver high-quality care.
Job Details
Location: Not specified; position open to candidates outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.
Schedule: Varies, 12-hour shifts, from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with on-call requirements, totaling at least 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, and a minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the operating room specialty.

Additional Information: Candidates must be flexible to work during major holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's, with a requirement to work at least two major holidays and one minor holiday from the specified list. No local candidates within 50 miles are eligible.
