Job Summary: Operating Room (OR) nurse located in the vicinity of the designated area. This position involves providing perioperative care for diverse surgical procedures in a short-term acute care setting. The role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes during surgical interventions.
Job Details:
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 10/06/2026 and ending on 01/05/2027.
Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license accepted), at least 1 year of operating room experience, current certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience with Epic charting system and community hospital settings; experience with charge nurse responsibilities and sterile technique mastery.
Float: Float rotation may be required between nearby facilities.
Additional Information: Candidates must be flexible to work 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day). All scheduling requests must be included during submission; late requests may not be considered. Candidates should not contact facility directly unless scheduled for an interview. References covering the last 3 years, with at least 1 year of relevant OR experience, are required.
