Job Summary: Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Harlingen, Texas. This role involves providing direct clinical care to patients in the operating room setting, supervising staff, and supporting high standards of patient safety and care quality. The position requires collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure effective and efficient surgical services.
Job Details:
Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent, at least 1 year of related experience, current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, and the ability to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in surgical nursing, current certification in Operating Room Nursing (CNOR), knowledge of hospital policies and procedures
Additional Information: The Operating Room Registered Nurse will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support facility Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.
