Job Summary Operating Room (OR) Nurse position is located in a surgical unit featuring four operating rooms with a team of 5-6 nurses per shift. This role involves supporting orthopedic, general, colorectal, urological, and gynecological surgeries, utilizing advanced laparoscopic and robotic equipment. The position offers a proactive environment with opportunities for teamwork and clinical support across standard shifts.
Job Details
Schedule: Day shifts, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week, from 09/28/2026 to 12/28/2026
Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); no minimum experience required, candidate must be licensed to work in the location
Preferred Qualifications: Meditech electronic medical record experience and prior experience within the organization or similar setting
Additional Information: Responsibilities include pulling case carts, providing family updates via phone or Surgical Symphony text, acting as support for recovery nurses after hours, and participating in call rotation with approximately 5 shifts per month, including weekends and evenings. The role requires a positive attitude, proactive approach, efficient workflow, and good team rapport. Dress code involves scrubs dispensed by the facility.
