Job Summary Operating Room (OR) Nurse Sanford, NC This position involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care within the surgical unit of a busy healthcare facility in Sanford, North Carolina. The OR Nurse will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of patients undergoing surgical procedures, supporting surgical teams, and adhering to clinical standards and protocols.
Job Details
Schedule: Dayshift, 8-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in North Carolina; ACLS, BLS, CPI certifications; 0-2 years of relevant experience in operating room settings.
Responsibilities: Delivering preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care; supporting surgical team operations; ensuring compliance with safety standards; managing patient needs during surgical procedures.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in surgical or operating room nursing.
Additional Information: The role involves working in a dedicated surgery/unit setting that serves patients of all ages, with unique responsibilities for OR procedures but not floor nursing. Scrubs are provided, and casual attire is not permitted. The RN must be specialized in perioperative care.
