Job Summary:
Operating Room Nurse - Idaho Falls, Idaho. This position involves providing specialized perioperative care in a busy surgical unit with diverse procedures including trauma, neuro, orthopedics, and cardiovascular surgeries. The role requires adaptability to a rotating schedule and strong critical thinking skills to support a highly skilled team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting 10/26/2026 and ending 01/25/2027
• Required Qualifications: Valid Idaho Registered Nurse (RN) license, 3+ years of operating room experience, trauma experience, BLS certification, open and outgoing personality, team player, excellent critical thinking skills
• Preferred Qualifications: CNOR certification, burn experience, robotic experience, neuro experience
• Additional Information: The unit performs a broad spectrum of surgical procedures with an operating room that includes 13 beds across 13 ORs. The team operates on a rotating schedule that includes weekends and on-call shifts every four weeks, with typical call shifts ranging from 2 to 12 hours. The EMR used is Meditech. The role emphasizes adherence to AORN standards and unit policies, with a focus on patient safety and team collaboration.
