Job Summary
Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) Miami, FL. This role involves providing exceptional patient care in a busy and diverse surgical unit specializing in joint replacement, ENT, orthopedics, spine, urology, vascular, podiatry, thoracic, and plastic surgery procedures. The RN will be responsible for the observation, assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of all surgical patients, ensuring safety and optimal outcomes.

Position Description:
Operating Room (701) unit with 29 beds, serving a variety of surgical specialties including joint replacement, ENT, orthopedics, spine, urology, vascular, podiatry, thoracic, and plastic surgery. The RN will scrub and circulate in all service lines, participate in on-call rotations, and adhere to unit policies.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates must have ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), at least 2 years of current experience in an acute Operating Room setting, with experience in ortho, spine, and joint replacement cases. Current licensure as a registered nurse and completion of any additional specified certifications are required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room), and prior charge nurse experience are highly desirable.
Schedule:
Day shift, 8-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Rotation may include weekends, holidays, and on-call duties as specified.
Additional Information:
Candidates should be dedicated, patient-focused, reliable, and proficient in charting. Strong critical thinking skills, excellent bedside manner, and multitasking ability are essential. Ability to scrub and circulate across all service lines is required. Flexibility for rotating weekends and on-call responsibilities is necessary.
