A Circulating Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Operating Room (OR) procedures is sought for a facility located in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. This position involves general, neuro, urology, gynecology, and orthopedic surgeries, with a focus on perioperative patient care and advocacy. The role requires flexibility, teamwork, and experience with advanced surgical equipment and robotics.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift, 4x10 hour shifts with a limit of 3 Fridays or Mondays off in a 6-week schedule.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, at least 1 year of experience in OR nursing, neuro-specific experience, and experience with DaVinci Xi surgical robot.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Hana Table, Arthrex tower, and Beach Chair positioning preferred.
- Additional Information: Flu vaccination is required from November 1 to April 1, with client-approved exemptions. The assignment involves working with advanced surgical equipment including DaVinci Xi, Hana Table, Arthrex tower, and Beach Chair. Clinical responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating perioperative patient care, often acting as a patient advocate. The facility is a 244-bed hospital serving a large regional population.
