Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position in Largo, Florida. This role involves providing specialized perioperative care in a fast-paced, high-volume surgical environment. The OR Nurse will assist with a range of procedures including kidney and liver transplants, neuro cases, and orthopedic surgeries, requiring a proactive and adaptable approach to patient care.
Job Details:
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: 0 or more years of OR Nursing experience, Florida licensure preferred.
- Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Preferred Qualifications: Kidney and liver transplant experience, orthopedic and neuro case experience.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.

- Unit Information: 10 operating rooms with a staff of 46 healthcare professionals including registered nurses and certified surgical technicians
- Typical responsibilities include assisting with kidney transplants, liver transplants, neuro cases, and orthopedic procedures
- Candidate should handle stress well and be able to work independently
- Traveler shall be scheduled in accordance with facility policy and is expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff
