Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Operating Room – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: September 8, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Monday through Friday, day shift (06:30 - 15:00), 10-hour shifts with rotating days off. Call requirement of 1-2 shifts every 6 weeks. Patient ratio 1:1. 14 operating rooms with an average daily census of 45.

• Work in a dynamic 14-room operating suite serving adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Gain experience across multiple surgical specialties including orthopedic, general, neurological, vascular, and urological procedures
• Opportunity to work with advanced technology including DaVinci robotic systems and endovascular equipment
• Minimal call requirements with predictable weekday scheduling
• Epic charting system experience utilized
• 91-day assignment with comprehensive orientation support

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1.5 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Trauma Level I experience required
• Required surgical experience: Orthopedic, General, Neurological, Vascular, and Urological procedures
• Preferred experience: DaVinci robotic surgery, endovascular procedures, and ophthalmic surgery
• Candidates must not reside in the following Texas counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris
