Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position in Louisiana. This full-time role involves providing clinical nursing care primarily in the OR setting with the flexibility to float between multiple campuses. The position supports a variety of surgical procedures, focusing on orthopedic, podiatry, spine, general, urology, ENT, gynecology, and other specialties. The role emphasizes independent practice and adherence to established nursing standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Evenings shift from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing preferred; RN License in the state of Louisiana or a compact license; BLS certification; 0 years of experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: 1 year of experience in perioperative nursing or a related specialty.
• Float: Float rotation may be required between campuses.
• Additional Information: The position involves working in the OR only, with potential on-call requirements 1-2 times per week and every third weekend (Friday to Sunday). Candidates must have current RN licensure and BLS certification.
