Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse - Location: Iowa. This position involves providing skilled circulating and scrub nurse services in a busy Level I trauma center. The role requires working across various service lines including cardiovascular, neuro, orthopaedics, robotics, gynecology, urology, and transplants, supporting a high-volume surgical environment with state-of-the-art equipment.

Job Details

• Certification: BLS (AHA)
• Education Requirements: Active Iowa/IA license or multistate license at time of submission
• Experience: 24 months of current operating room experience required, specifically in hospital/medical center settings, with experience in general, Da Vinci Robotics, pediatrics, and trauma preferred.
• Specialty: Operating Room (OR)
• Shift Time: Rotating
• Shift Hours: 12 hours per shift
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Schedule: As scheduled, with weekend and holiday requirements, including working 1-2 of the upcoming summer holidays, with shifts ending on Friday at end of day through 6:30 AM Monday.
• Responsibilities: Circulating and scrubbing in diverse cases, including trauma, robotics, orthopedics, neurology, gynecology, urology, transplants, plastics, ENT, vascular, and general surgeries; familiar with EPIC electronic medical system within the past 3 years; floating across all campuses as required.
• Submission Requirements: Resume or work history reflecting 24 months of current OR experience, skills checklist specific to operating room discipline, professional references from supervisors or nurse managers within 24 months, driver's license, and valid BLS certification.
