Job Summary:
Operating Room Nurse in Aurora, Colorado. This position involves providing skilled perioperative nursing care in a busy surgical environment. The role supports a variety of surgical procedures while ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: 1 year of current acute care hospital operating room Registered Nurse (RN) experience, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Colorado RN license, and ability to work in the United States
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior Meditech experience, charge nurse experience, and precepting experience are highly preferred
- Critical Skills: Ability to perform general OR surgeries, neuro/spine, cardiovascular, orthopedics, gynecology, and robotic procedures. Flexibility, excellent communication skills, and adaptability are ideal personality traits
- Call Requirements: 1-2 night shifts per week and 1-2 weekend call shifts per month
