Job Summary: Operating Room (OR) nurse in a 1000+ bed hospital facility located in a high-acuity Level 1 trauma center. This full-time position involves working day shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with required late stays. The role requires circulating experience and prior travel experience, with a focus on adult patient populations across diverse service lines excluding cardiac, transplant, and trauma/neuro cases.
Job Details:
Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours each, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 11/16/2026 and ending on 05/15/2027.
Required Qualifications:
Valid nursing license on file at time of submission
Minimum of 2 years OR (Operating Room) experience
Prior travel nursing experience
Circulating experience in OR settings
Ability to work late stays; willingness to work 2 of 3 holidays during assignment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a Level 1 trauma environment
Experience with a wide range of case types, including neuro, trauma, ortho, general, GYN, urology, ENT, plastics, cardiothoracic, vascular, robotic, hybrid rooms, ambulatory ortho, burn, hepatic-biliary
Additional Information:
Orientation dates are scheduled for 10/26, 11/2, 11/9, and 11/16, with a 26-week placement requirement.
No excessive time off can be approved; limited time off is expected.
The role involves flexible movement between OR locations without floating between different facilities.
Specific room types and surgical procedures are included; the OR team may occasionally stay late to support ongoing cases, especially during summer and holiday periods.
