Job Summary:
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurse in Willimantic, Connecticut. This position involves providing care to patients recovering from anesthesia in a fast-paced ambulatory surgical setting. The nurse will be responsible for managing a variety of surgeries, including orthopedic, gynecological, general, and robotic procedures, while adhering to clinical protocols and standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shifts, 8 hours shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, proficiency in Ambulatory Surgical and Phase I/II Recovery settings, experience with IV starts, recognition of aberrant cardiac rhythms, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications, proficiency with EPIC charting, and ability to hit the ground running.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in an ambulatory surgical environment, familiarity with robotic surgical systems such as da Vinci, MAKO, and Globus.
• Additional Information: This unit has experienced recent patient volume expansion. The role requires the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic, high-paced environment managing a broad spectrum of outpatient surgeries.
