Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing leadership in the coordination and delivery of high-quality, compassionate patient care within the surgical environment. The nurse will utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and teaching. Effective communication of pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team is essential. The position requires participation in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensuring the implementation of corrective actions.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week. The schedule includes Monday through Friday, with every other weekend working 12-hour shifts.
• Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing; BLS certification; 3 years of operative care or related experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Additional Information: Candidate must have BLS certification and at least 3 years of OR experience.
