Job Summary:
Operating Room Nurse in Lewiston, ME. This role involves providing patient care in a busy surgical environment, including trauma, bariatrics, vascular, ENT, gynecology, neuro, and orthopedic procedures. The position requires flexibility to participate in weekend and weeknight call schedules, with a focus on supporting various surgical specialties within a reputable healthcare organization.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (4x10s), with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: RN License, BLS certification, 2 years of experience in general operating room, trauma, bariatrics, vascular, ENT, gynecology, neuro, or ortho surgery, and current practice in the United States
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with robotics in surgical settings and familiarity with EPIC electronic health record system
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information:
- Location: Lewiston, ME, approximately 45 minutes from Portland International Airport, and near popular outdoor and cultural attractions
- Facility features advanced surgical equipment including robotics, microscopes, lasers, advanced OR tables/beds, navigation systems for neurosurgery, and DaVinci surgical systems
