Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Spokane, Washington. This position requires a highly skilled healthcare professional to provide specialized perioperative care within a busy surgical department. The ideal candidate will be competent in a variety of surgical procedures and adaptable to a dynamic hospital environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week, starting on 09/08/2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid Washington or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, a minimum of 1 year of relevant OR experience, and full competence in neurosurgical procedures including craniotomies and complex spine surgeries.
- Special Requirements: The RN must be fully competent in all neurosurgical procedures, including craniotomies and complex spine surgeries. Experience with Epic charting system is required.
- Float: May float to outpatient surgical centers as needed, per department requirements.
- On-Call: Yes, meet department needs, which may vary.
- Additional Information: The role involves working with a multidisciplinary team supporting general, ortho, neuro, ENT, plastics, robotics, and transplant units. Candidates should be comfortable with a fast-paced environment and possess flexibility to cover weekdays or weekends.
