Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse Brooklyn, NY. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in a high-volume, Level-1 adult trauma and Pediatric Level-2 trauma medical center. The role includes scrub and circulate responsibilities across multiple specialties including general surgery, urology, gynecology, plastics, pediatrics, orthopedics, and thoracic surgery, with potential to float to other units as needed.

Job Details

• Position Description: RN - OR at a major academic medical center with a 15 plus operating room Main OR, including an ambulatory surgery unit with 6 operating rooms.
• Required Qualifications: BLS certification, New York State RN Licensure, at least 1 year of OR nursing experience, and previous travel experience preferred.
• Schedule: Days shift, 11.5 hours per shift, minimum 34.5 hours per week, with a start date of 10/20/2026 and end date of 01/18/2027.
• Additional Information: Trauma experience preferred. Experience in general surgery, urology, GYN, robotic surgeries (Davinci Xi), plastics, pediatrics, orthopedics, and thoracic surgeries is highly valued. The ability to scrub and circulate within the operating room is required.
