Job Summary Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) Rockport, ME This position involves providing circulating nursing services in a small community hospital's Operating Room. The role is focused on surgical patient care, supporting multiple service lines, and maintaining a team-oriented environment. The assignment spans 13 weeks, offering opportunities to collaborate with skilled surgeons and anesthesia providers in a patient-centered setting.
Job Details
Position: RN-OR Circulating Nurse
Specialty: Operating Room
Location: Rockport, ME
Shift: 0700-1630, Days, with call shifts required including weeknights from 1630-0700 and weekends, approximately one weekend every 5 to 6 weeks and one weeknight call per week.
Schedule: 36 hours per week, 9-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: BLS, ACLS certifications, minimum of 3 years of OR circulating experience, experience in a smaller facility OR, and experience across multiple service lines.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Orthopedics, Urology, OB/GYN, General Surgery, or ENT.
Additional Information: Team-oriented environment with a focus on collaboration. The hospital has a 100-bed capacity with surgical patients, and staff are expected to assist with room turnovers and support team efforts.
Certification and requirements: Must have experience in multiple service lines and be a team player willing to assist as needed.
