Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Boise, Idaho
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,350–$2,470
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: September 27, 2026
• End Date: December 26, 2026
• Schedule: 40 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 10-hour day shifts
• Regular Shift: 6:45 a.m.–5:15 p.m.
• Call Requirements: One to two stay-late call shifts per week from 5:15–7:15 p.m.; one to three 12-hour call shifts per six-week period; weekend and holiday call coverage may be scheduled for either 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.

Operating Room Registered Nurse Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Idaho
• At least 1 year of recent operating room nursing or perioperative nursing experience
• Operating Room certification or demonstrated perioperative nursing competency
• Experience providing safe, efficient care throughout the surgical experience
• Ability to meet required facility onboarding, competency, and credentialing requirements
• Strong communication, organization, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

Operating Room Nursing Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Prepare operating rooms, surgical equipment, supplies, and instrumentation according to procedure requirements
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and the broader perioperative team
• Maintain strict standards for aseptic technique, infection prevention, patient safety, and surgical counts
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes throughout the perioperative process
• Document patient care accurately and support efficient operating room turnover between procedures
• Participate in scheduled stay-late, weekend, holiday, and extended call coverage
