Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for the Main Operating Room requiring an active RN license (State or Compact) and BLS certification.

Details

• Assignment in the Main OR of a hospital setting
• 13-week contract with day shift hours from 06:45-17:15
• On-call requirements include 1-2 stay-late call shifts per week (17:15-19:15) and 1-3 12-hour call shifts per 6-week period
• Weekend and holiday coverage required on either 7a-7p or 7p-7a shifts

Requirements

• Active RN license (State or Compact) currently in hand
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• ACLS certification required if assigned to CCU, ED, PACU, MICU, or SICU
• License verification must be dated within 30 days of start, including NURSYS verification for RNs

Additional Information

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the Main OR
• Accepts local candidates in select states including CA, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, MD, MA, MI, NC, NE, NY, OH, OR, and PA
• Radius requirement of 60 miles applies for most locations, with some facilities requiring 50-90 miles depending on site
• COVID vaccination documentation required for consideration
