Job Summary Operating Room (OR) Nurse - Location not specified. This role involves providing critical surgical patient care in a fast-paced environment within the organizations operating suites. The OR Nurse will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and safe surgical procedures.
Job Details
Certifications and experience required for position: Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); 2 years of experience in a surgical or operating room setting with prior travel experience; no minimum experience requirement noted.
Schedule: Rotating shifts, Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts, with night and weekend call responsibilities for nights and weekends. Shifts start times will be discussed with the Director. Minimum of 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities include ensuring supplies and timely case management, effective communication with families, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting during surgical cases, and supervising personnel delivering patient care.
Additional requirements: Must be able to take call for nights and weekends.
