Job Summary
The organization is seeking an Operating Room (OR) registered nurse (RN) for a 12-hour day shift position in a healthcare facility specializing in surgical procedures. This role involves providing perioperative care for patients undergoing a variety of surgical interventions, including neuro, cardiac, orthopedic, plastics, eye, general surgery, urology, thoracic, gynecological, vascular, hematology-oncology, transplant, and organ transplant surgeries. The RN will be responsible for supporting surgical teams, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high standards of care.

Job Details

• Certifications: Current California RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Education Requirements: Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Location Requirements: Must be licensed to practice in California.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of OR experience in a surgical setting, with significant pediatric skills.
• Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: CNOR certification, experience in General Surgery, Orthopedics, and Neurology, proficiency in laparoscopic surgery, and experience in scrubbing surgical procedures.
• Responsibilities: Assist in various surgical procedures, operate endoscopic and laparoscopic equipment, handle specimen processing, assist anesthesia, and maintain sterile environments.
• Additional Information: Must have references available at time of submission. Flexibility to float may be required.
• Submission Requirements: Must provide two recent references and demonstrate appropriate certifications and licensure before start date.
