Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position in a busy surgical unit. This role involves scrub and circulating responsibilities with proficiency in Da Vinci Xi robotic system. The nurse will primarily work on a 7-room inpatient/outpatient surgical unit performing various procedures including general, colorectal, gynecology, urology, eye, brachytherapy, plastics, uro-gyn, and robotic surgeries. The position requires flexibility to float within the unit and possibly to the main OR, with scheduled shifts Monday through Friday and obligations including weekend call shifts. The assignment runs from October 19, 2026, to January 17, 2027.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, a minimum of 40 hours per week, typically finishing by 7-8 pm.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Driver's License or State ID, active UHS Skills Checklist, UHS Submission Packet, and UHS Prior Employment Form.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Da Vinci Xi robotic system, circulating and scrubbing in the OR, and experience with posterior eye and eye trauma procedures.
• Float: Float rotation may be required within the skill set, especially when short-staffed or when ending early.
• Responsibilities include assisting with a variety of surgical procedures across multiple specialties, supporting both robotic and open cases, and fulfilling weekend call shifts.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in surgical nursing, with specific robotic surgery experience preferred.
• Education: Current professional licensure as a registered nurse.
• Location requirement: Candidates must have a valid Drivers License or State ID.
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, with an expectation to work approximately 40 hours weekly.
• Start Date: 10/19/2026
• End Date: 01/17/2027
