Job Summary: Operating Room (OR) Nurse in a healthcare facility setting. This position involves circulating in a high-volume, level 1 trauma acute care environment, supporting a variety of complex surgical procedures including neuro, ortho, GYN, and urology cases. The role emphasizes versatility, adaptability, and expertise in robotic and navigation-assisted surgeries.
Job Details:
Position Description: Circulating nurses responsible for documenting and patient care within the operative setting. Tasks include sterile prepping, catheter insertion, opening supplies, patient positioning, electronic charting, and operating room equipment setup.
Required Qualifications: BLS Certification; RN ND or Compact license; minimum 2 years recent OR RN experience; no specific years of experience required beyond that; must be willing to wait for license submission.
Schedule: Evenings, 8 hours per shift, with rotating call, typically 1pm-9pm, Monday through Friday, with additional extended shifts as needed.
Additional Information: Work involves float to different units/departments, including rare opportunities to float to other campuses. Candidates must not reside within a 60-mile radius of the facility; local travel rate applies to those living 60 to 80 miles away. Strong neuro and orthopedic surgery experience, including navigation and robotic procedures, is required. Good interview availability is preferred as the manager will conduct interviews prior to offer.
Submission Requirements: Must badge in/out at the facility and provide proof of certifications.
