Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a qualified Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) for a position located in Wailuku, Hawaii. The role involves providing specialized nursing care in the operating room environment, supporting surgical teams, and ensuring patient safety. The candidate will be responsible for circulating and scrubbing during surgical procedures, adhering to facility protocols and standards.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift with 8 hours per day and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications:
- 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in an operating room setting.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Valid Registered Nurse license in the state where care is provided.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of operating room circulating and scrubbing experience.
- Current or future Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
- CNOR certification, preferred.
- ACLS certification, preferred.
- Pre-op area skills, preferred.
- IV start skills, preferred.
- Additional Information:
- No specific experience minimum beyond the qualification requirements.
- Position involves clinical responsibilities in the operating room environment, supporting surgical procedures and patient care before, during, and after operations.
