Shift: Days, 4×10s (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Weekend Coverage: Required
Call Requirement: Yes – 5 weekday call shifts and 2 weekend call shifts every 6-week schedule
Floating: Not required
Documentation/EMR: SurgiNet (Cerner) – EMR experience must be verified
Minimum 2 years of acute care or outpatient experience
General Surgery experience required
Must have experience in most of the specialty areas listed below
Strong experience working in a fast-paced environment
Endoscopy experience is a plus (training provided if needed)
BLS
ACLS
PALS
Primarily inpatient and outpatient pediatric patients
Adults on rare occasions
Candidates should have experience in the majority of the following:
General Surgery
ENT
Plastic Surgery
Ophthalmology
Urology
Dentistry
Oncology
GI
Pulmonary
Endoscopy (training available if needed)
Fast-paced Procedure Center
General Surgery experience is mandatory
Verified Cerner/SurgiNet EMR experience required
