Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Albany, New York. This position involves working in a fast-paced surgical environment with a focus on cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular procedures. The role requires flexibility to float to different units as needed, supporting various surgical specialties and ensuring patient safety and care standards are maintained.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, at least 0 years of experience, preferably with a background in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular procedures.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in an operating room setting, familiarity with hospital protocols and surgical equipment, and certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR) is preferred.
• Additional Information: This position may include an on-call requirement and may involve float to other units within the facility. The facility utilizes a specific electronic medical record system. Dress code includes scrubs in designated colors, and parking is provided at the facility location.
