Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Portland, Maine. The role involves providing specialized surgical nursing care in a fast-paced environment, supporting a variety of complex procedures. This position is scheduled for daytime shifts with an expected minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 08/31/2026.

Job Details:

  • Location: 22 Bramhall Street, Portland, ME 04102
  • Position Type: RN Operating Room (OR)
  • Shift Schedule: Days, 10 hours shift, minimum 40 hours per week
  • Number of Openings: 1
  • Required Qualifications: Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), PALS preferred but not necessary. Experience in ENT, Dental, Plastics, Pediatrics, Trauma Level 1, with the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment; 2+ years of experience plus travel experience; no minimum experience requirement in the roles minimum experience field.
  • Preferred Qualifications: AORN certification is a plus.
  • Unit Information: Procedures include laryngoscopy, sinus surgery, facial plastics and trauma, cochlear implants, oral surgery, neuro, head and neck cancer surgeries, tonsillectomy, and tympanoplasty.
  • Additional Information: The RN will support various surgical procedures in a busy facility with a focus on patient safety and team collaboration. Scrubs are provided; professional attire must adhere to the scrubs dress code.
