Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position available in Burlington, Vermont. This assignment is for 13 to 16 weeks, with a focus on surgical procedures across a variety of specialties. The role involves working night shifts and requires flexibility to meet the needs of the unit and patient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: 2 years of operating room nursing experience; large trauma level 1 hospital experience (500+ beds); prior travel experience; EPIC electronic medical records experience within the past 2 years; circulating and scrub skills checklists in packet; ability to scrub all specialties except Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) cases; proficiency in scrubbing all general operating room, urology, gynecology, ENT, ophthalmology, plastics, laparoscopic cases, trauma, thoracic, and vascular surgeries; must be flexible with schedule and available for call responsibilities.
- Additional Information: Assignment duration of 13-16 weeks; call requirements include one weekday call per week and one 24-hour call every four weeks; travelers must work 2 of the 4 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year's Day); all employment gaps over 90 days must be explained; complete work history information is required for submission; reliable transportation or rental vehicle strongly recommended due to lack of public transportation.
