Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position located in a comprehensive healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care within a busy surgical environment. The candidate will be responsible for supporting trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols.
Job Details
Shift Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Start Date: 10/19/2026
End Date: 04/19/2027
Required Qualifications: At least 3 years of OR experience, trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic surgical experience, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, current licensed registered nurse in the applicable state, valid compact license if applicable
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma and neuro cases, Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system experience
Float: Float rotation may be required; candidates should be flexible to float between similar units as needed
Additional Information: Candidate must be willing to work on-call, with call duties distributed every 6 weeks, including up to 6-8 shifts in that period. Must be able to commit to working at least 3 of the 5 major holidays. Candidate responses regarding previous work at a similar facility and references covering the last 3 years are required at submission. No facility name or specific employer references are included as per guidelines.
