Job Summary: Operating Room Nurse in a healthcare facility. This position involves providing specialized surgical nursing care in the operating room environment. The role requires a focus on patient safety, surgical preparedness, and team collaboration to ensure optimal patient outcomes during procedures.
Job Details:
Schedule: Evening shifts, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state where care is provided.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
One (1) year of recent full-time equivalent operating room experience (within the last 3 years).
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in nursing or a related field.
Three (3) to five (5) years of operating room circulating and scrubbing experience.
Certification from the Council of Surgical Specialty Certification (CNOR).
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Pre-operative area skills and IV start skills.
Additional Information:
This assignment is scheduled to start on 10/05/2026 and concludes on 02/07/2027.
Candidates must have and maintain current licensure and certifications required for the role.
