Job Summary:
Operating Room Specialist in Santa Rosa, California. This position involves providing surgical nursing care in a high-volume acute care hospital setting. The role requires trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic experience, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and support various surgical procedures.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid California license; minimum 3 years of experience in operating room nursing; trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic experience; BLS certification; current certifications in relevant surgical procedures.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system; open to first-time travelers with requisite experience.
- Float: Yes, float rotation may be required among hospital units and affiliate facilities.
- Additional Information: Travelers must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Coverage may include one night shift as needed within the contract. Candidates should have specific charting experience in Epic and references covering 1 year (and 6 months for CNAs). Submission requires RTO (Request for Time Off) included at the time of application. The assignment begins on 08/24/2026.
