Job Summary Operating Room (OR) Nurse - Location not specified. This position involves providing specialized perioperative care in a large trauma level 1 facility with over 500 beds. The role requires flexibility and strong clinical skills to support a variety of surgical specialties including orthopedics, urology, oncology, plastics, neuro, and trauma.
Job Details
Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: 2 years of OR experience, EPIC system experience from the past 2 years, circulating and scrubbing skills checklists, and a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in operating room nursing.
Schedule: Rotating between day/evening shifts, typically three-day shifts plus one off shift, with 10-hour shifts and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities include supporting large trauma surgery cases, utilizing skills in orthopedics, urology, oncology, Da Vinci Robotics, general surgery, ENT, dental, plastics, neuro, cardiovascular, trauma, and related procedures.
Prior travel experience and large trauma level 1 hospital experience are required.
All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained, and comprehensive work history including bed count, EMR system, and facility type must be provided for submission.
This role involves work Monday through Sunday with no block scheduling, bi-weekly orientations, and the need for reliable transportation.
