Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Travel OR Registered Nurse (RN) for a day-shift operating room assignment. The successful candidate will support a variety of surgical specialties while delivering exceptional perioperative care in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe and effective perioperative nursing care.
Perform preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative responsibilities.
Ensure proper surgical room setup and sterile field maintenance.
Assist the surgical team throughout procedures.
Monitor patient status and maintain patient safety standards.
Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Follow facility policies, quality standards, and infection control protocols.
Requirements
Active California RN License required.
Current BLS Certification required.
Current NIHSS Certification required.
Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience.
Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required.
Experience in:
Trauma Surgery
Robotic Surgery
Orthopedic Surgery
