Contract | Travel | Days | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Shift: 6:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform circulating duties in the operating room, ensuring a safe and sterile surgical environment throughout all procedures
  • Assist in orienting and supporting newly hired OR nursing staff as part of a structured training initiative
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and scrub technicians to coordinate efficient and safe surgical care
  • Monitor and document patient status, surgical counts, and procedural details in accordance with facility protocols
  • Maintain compliance with infection control, patient safety, and regulatory standards throughout all OR activities

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Idaho or compact state eligibility
  • Minimum of 2 years of OR circulating experience
  • Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation, sterile technique, and perioperative nursing standards
  • Ability to meet travel contract requirements, including working a minimum of 60 miles from the facility location

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience in a full-service regional or acute care hospital setting
  • CNOR certification or equivalent perioperative nursing credential
  • Prior travel nursing experience with demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new environments
