Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program
• Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room experience required
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, perioperative nursing, and surgical nursing standards
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and prioritization skills
• Ability to adapt to changing assignments and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced OR environment
• BSN preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and quality patient- and family-centered care in the operating room and perioperative areas
• Act as a patient advocate throughout the surgical experience
• Perform thorough head-to-toe assessments and reassessments according to policy
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, LPNs, nursing assistants, and ancillary team members
• Provide age-specific care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Assess and manage pain appropriately using approved interventions
• Maintain organization, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to the team concept
• Support professional nursing practice and contribute to high standards of surgical care
